Join us for a holiday tour of Midtown Global Market!

Midtown Global Market (MGM)

Conveniently located in the Phillips and Powderhorn neighborhoods in Minneapolis, The Midtown Global Market is an international public market featuring fresh and prepared foods, restaurants, and a selection of arts and crafts from around the world. Since opening in June of 2006, the Midtown Global Market has developed a reputation for great food, diverse entertainment and a “fun & funky” vibe that rivals many of today’s top public markets.

Neighborhood Development Center (NDC)

Since May of 1993—in eight ethnic communities and 25 low-income neighborhoods in Minnesota—NDC has helped build community support around the idea of creating, financing, and supporting resident-owned small businesses as a means of revitalizing inner city neighborhoods. NDC entrepreneurs employ over 2,000 of their neighbors and return over $36 million annually to their own inner-city neighborhoods, according to Wilder Research.  Further, 83% say they serve as role models for youth in their communities and 31% serve as leaders in community organizations.
