The latest documentary by award-winning filmmaker, Holly Mosher, titled Bonsai People: The Vision of Muhammad Yunus, will have its debut at the United Nations on September 22, 2011 during the Clinton Global Initiative from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
There will also be a special screening of this documentary at the SEA Summit.
Created by SEA Los Angeles Chapter Board Member, Holly Mosher, this film highlight’s one man’s answers to many of the world’s most pressing problems from poverty and education to solar energy.
Muhammad Yunus is a pioneer and founder of Grameen Bank. Yunus, a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate has said, “Seeing the real people in this movie gives you the real experience.” Bonsai Peoplehighlights his work, not only offering financial services, but also health services, energy, communications, and more – all aimed at helping the poor.
SEA will be featuring this film on October 30 at 8:00 pm. After the screening, Holly will be discussing her journey in creating this important documentary and her time with Yunus.
